Burlap & Barrel Black Purple Stripe Garlic is grown by a group of farmers in the mountains of northern Vietnam and has a savory and sweet flavour! Add it to tomato sauce, stews, salad dressing or sprinkle on top of your pizza or roasted veggies!
- Location: Cao Bang, Vietnam
- Process: Hot air dried and ground
- Tasting Notes: Brown Butter, toasted hazelnut
- Ingredients: 100% garlic, ground (Allium sativum)
- Size: 1.8oz glass jar or 16oz plastic container
- Add to sauces as a base flavour
- Toss into meat and veggie rubs, stir fries and salad dressings
- Sprinkle over pizza (SO GOOD!!)

I never worry about vampires as I am all about the garlic! I have purchased store bought garlic powder and let me tell you, they don't hold a candle to this stuff! It is rich and robust in flavour and aroma. A little goes a long way, compared to what you are buying on the shelf in grocery stores. I love fresh garlic, but if you don't have any or don't want to peel, mince, crush etc put this in your recipe and you will never know. It is that damn good!
Wow! Bought as a gift to my hubby who is doing all the cooking at this time. We opened each jar because the first one was so fresh and aromatic we had to check the others! While we still have fresh veggies from the garden, I make up the salads to which I add black lime, sumac and thyme...what wonderful zip they create! So glad I found you!
