Burlap and Barrel single origin spices sourced directly from small farms around the world. These spices are harvested by hand, dried naturally, grown organically whenever possible, and transported directly to preserve freshness. 

Flowering Hyssop Thyme is grown in Turkey, where it is the primary ingredient in za'atar. It has a beautiful floral, herbaceous flavor and aroma. It has an ancient history of culinary and medicinal usage. Use it in place of regular thyme with roasted chicken, grilled vegetables and tomato sauces.

Burlap & Barrel Flowering Hyssop Thyme

I mix all my spices in my cooking and its going to be just 'me' now tasting it. my niece is finally moving by Tuesday to her new place and she'll be cooking her own meal, probably buy her spices at the store but not as good at these ones.

I found it to have a lot of woody stems. Not nice to eat.

Fabulous Gift

Hubby loved his gift of various products. The Black Lime and Sumac really sparkled up a fresh salad made with tomatoes from our garden. We opened each jar and were duly impressed with the aromatic fragrance from each one. Looks like we are dedicated fans!
