One sip of Spicy Taco Soup Keto Chow and you’ll understand why it’s our customer friends favourite! Keto Chow is a delicious, simple and easy to use meal replacement made for low carb and keto/diabetic diets! It’s a complete meal replacement and is perfect for those meals that you just don’t have time to make.

Spicy Taco has only 0.3g net carbs per serving and is a versatile soup base that is a little jazzed up. It serves as a great base for soups and stews, and can also be used to add flavour to other dishes, meats and vegetables.

How to Make

  1. ADD FAT SOURCE

Add heavy cream, melted butter, coconut oil or whatever fat source you like into a Blender or Blender Bottle.

This is where you can customize the amount for your particular calorie needs.

  1. ADD KETO CHOW POWDER

Either one packet (single-serve) or one scoop (bulk meal bag).

  1. ADD WATER

Add 410ml warm water, coffee or any other liquid you like… and blend! If you find your shake too thick, just add water until it’s just right!

  1. SHAKE & ENJOY!

We suggest refrigerating for 30 mins or ideally overnight to bring out more flavour.  The longer you wait, the better it tastes!

So yummy

I used this to make the slow cooker taco soup but on the stove. This recipe is very forgiving, I did not have all the ingredients called for so I did 1-10oz can of diced tomatoes with chilis, 2 cups of homemade chicken stock, I did not have cream cheese but did have goat cheese so I subbed that and then I added a pkg of shirataki rice. All the spices remained the same I just cut back the salt to 1/2 tsp. AMAZING! Everyone topped their soups with what they wanted (mine was avocado and cheddar, brother who is not keto cheddar and taco chips and my dad, also not keto had cheese and crackers). I have to say it is spicy but not too spicy...I do not tolerate heat well and this was spicy but not overly so. I will make this again!

Thank you sooo much for your review, Gail!! The Spicy taco soup you made sounds absolutely delicious, I have to try making it myself :) I am so glad you and your family enjoyed this product!

Kicked Up Taco Beef

I mix this in with some scrambled fried beef and kicked up the flavour with Labuyo Fermented Chili Sauce (available here at Switch Grocery), some shredded cheese and a few protein taco chips. It was a really good high protein meal. The KC alone did not have enough zing to it. I will try it out in other recipes to discover other ways to use this product. It is a nice change of pace from the sweet KC shakes.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, Val! I usually add extra spices to add more flavour to the soup bases as they should be customized to your liking! I love that you add the labuyo sauce, especially in a taco crumble!! It adds the best flavour. You can use these in baking savory dishes!

Keto Chow -Spicy Taco Soup

Keto Chow makes it so easy to stay within your plan and a soup option was a great alternative as the weather gets colder. I did not find it all that flavourful but as a base it's perfect to add shredded chicken, sour cream, cheese and avacado for something really delicious.
