3. Fasting Basics: How to get started fasting?

Taking on this new journey can be daunting. What is intermittent fasting? What are the rules? How does intermittent fasting work? Megan Ramos, The Fasting Method co-founder who has also used intermittent fasting for her health journey, wrote this blog to share her tips and insights and show how accessible fasting really is.

4. Controlling Hunger Part 1 and Part 2 

This is undoubtedly (at least for me) the toughest part of fasting. Fasting through cravings can require a lot of mental strength and dedication (for me personally) and reading the science behind what causes cravings can be extremely supportive and helpful. This two-parter blog series written by Dr. Fung goes through the science behind why we feel hungry and leverages that to put together science-based tips, which is an incredible refresher to educate and inspire us.

Dr. Jason Fung has a new book, The Cancer Code. Having read all of his work, the best part of this book is that it is NOT a prescriptive what to do but he has outlined the history of cancer research and the learnings from studies to date. It is a fascinating read and I highly recommend it.
