Chocolate Protein Muffins

A low carb, Keto muffin recipe that is packed with protein and delicious sugar free chocolate! Using Philosophie Cacao Magic Superfood Protein Powder, we created a Keto friendly dessert that is not only tasty but keeps carbs low and adds in a boost of protein. Want a bit of extra chocolate? Muffin Ingredients

⅓ cup coconut flour

⅓ cup granular sweetener

⅓ cup Philosophie Cacao Magic

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp Origin Vanilla extract

4 eggs

¼ cup melted unsalted butter or coconut oil

¼ cup black coffee (pre-brewed)

¼ tsp Origin Vanilla Salt

Chocolate Glaze (Optional)

40g Coco Polo Chocolate Chips

1 tbsp coconut oil


  1. Preheat oven to 325F
  2. Prepare and grease muffin tin 
  3. In a large bowl, combine muffin dry ingredients together
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk all other muffin ingredients together
  5. Add in wet ingredients to large bowl with the dry ingredients and stir until smooth
  6. Pour mixture into muffin tin and bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
  7. Allow muffins to cool and then prepare glaze
  8. In a small bowl, add Coco Polo chocolate and coconut oil, then microwave for 40 seconds, stirring halfway through
  9. Once chocolate has melted completely, pour glaze over each muffin evenly
