Low Carb Chocolate Toffee Cake

A Keto cake that is rich and decadent without the sugar! We used Keto Chow Chocolate Toffee for the perfect balance of flavour without having to add any sugar. This low carb cake is perfect to have with your morning coffee or to enjoy with after dinner for a sugar free treat. Keto Chow is super versatile; use it as a meal replacement, as a snack, or add into your Keto baking for easy flavour and no added sugar.

Ingredients:

2 cups almond flour

2 servings (88g) Chocolate Toffee Keto Chow 

½ cup cream cheese (softened to room temperature)

⅓ cup heavy cream

3 eggs

3 tbsp brown sugar substitute

1 tbsp Lee’s Ghee Dark Chocolate (melted)

1 tbsp cocoa powder

1 ½ tsp Origin Vanilla Extract

½ tsp Origin Vanilla Bean Sea Salt


Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees 
  2. Whisk together cream, eggs, ghee and vanilla extract 
  3. Add in almond flour, brown sugar substitute, Keto Chow (1 ½ servings), cocoa powder, vanilla bean sea salt
  4. Pour batter into a greased 8” cake pan
  5. Place in the oven for 15-20 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
  6. For frosting, mix the remaining ½ serving of Keto Chow with softened cream cheese until blended 
  7. Once cake has baked and cooled, pour frosting over the cake and spread evenly
